24-Hour Canvas Telephone Support : 877-399-4090
To provide Canvas customers with direct and immediate assistance, the Division of IT’s Learning Technologies group is partnering with Instructure to provide phone support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Faculty and students enrolled in courses on Canvas can call 877-399-4090 for the following types of assistance:
- help with setting up modules, assignments, pages, or other tools or environments in Canvas
- help with sending a message to members of a course, establishing a user profile or notification preferences, or submitting or grading an assignment
For assistance with such Canvas course administration tasks as merging or unmerging cross-listed courses and multi-section courses, adding a “Designer” or “Course Observer,” or requesting organization or master course spaces, the university community should continue to direct their inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org (or call the Division of IT Help Desk at 301.405.1500).
Questions pertaining to Blackboard courses, including finalizing UMEG grade submission, should also be directed to email@example.com. Instructors and students will continue to have access to the documentation and video tutorial resources available under the Instructor Support and Student Support links located in the menu to your left.
